In a world where millions of homeless pets are euthanized each year, RUFF is proud to support organizations that work to aid lost, abandoned, and suffering animals. We believe that rescue, shelter, and most of all education CAN make a difference.

RUFF assists local animal rescue organizations by providing free flyball demonstrations for their fundraising events. For our current performance schedule, please see the Events page. Many of RUFF's members also do volunteer work for local rescue groups: answering phones, fostering homeless animals, cleaning, feeding, and assisting in behavioral training. We also have a number of rescue dogs on our teams and we're incredibly proud of all they've accomplished! Despite their difficult beginnings, these dogs have blossomed and become some of our top flyball racers. We feel that flyball is an important ally to animal rescue--especially in a city environment where many dog owners work long hours and have little room for their dogs to run. Flyball provides a healthy outlet for high-energy dogs and gives owners the opportunity to really bond with their pets.

It's all about TEAMWORK -- combining our efforts to make this world a better habitat for us all.
